Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

If husband and wife are seperated (not-legally) i.e. wife has gone to stay with her father and is not comming back and husband has noticed her behaviour in everyday life to be of unsound nature and meantime husband has got information that his wife before marriage was mentally unwell and used to visit so and so doctor before marriage. Does a husband have right to ask for the report from that doctor? And is the doctor bound to provide the report??

Please provide your valuable advice.

The doctor may refuse to divulge information about patients. Moreover, every 'abnornal' behaviour is not a matrimonial offence.
