Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hiii, I am a 27 year old woman.I have filed a case of 498a against my in-laws and husband.Now my husband has filed restitution of conjugal rights and gone to mediation centre Allahabad.Date of mediation is yet to come and i will not compromise there.Now i need your advice about when my case of 498a will be finished and is there any possibility that case could be finished after 1 year or so???OR in between case could be finished?????

See to be very frank it is not possible at all to make any kind of prediction, as to when your case OR as a matter of fact any case is going to finish. Further yes the case can be finished in between also depending upon the case and circumstances. For which a brief conversation is required to advise better. Regarding your the case of RCR filed by your husband in Allahabad you have every right to oppose it.

such cases go on for years. better reach a compromise with your husband in case he is agreed to pay a reasonable sum towards the permanent alimony.
