Hi
In addition to my earlier question regarding ..My sister in law has filed DV case in gujarat porbandar against me,mother, father my brother(her husband).My brother has left the house and not living with us. also he is not aware about the DV case filed by her. We are living in mumbai & every 7 days i have to go porbandar to attend court.
She is doing all this just to harrase us and get money. she had left our house with her own wish.
Me being a female What kind of case i can file in mumbai against her.

Generally No case will made out against females under DV act. But as per court citations, case will lie against females.
In fact DV Act is a civil act as per its preamble, tried in Criminal courts. Contradictory act
You too have right to file a case against your sister in law in mumbai under the D V act .
