Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

Me and my sister would like to be a joint owner of our house in Mumbai, India. It's currently in her name. We would like to have equal ownership rights. Also we would like to have minimal tax liabilities when we do so. Also at the same time when we become joint owners of this property can we name our kids as rightful heirs(my part for my kid and her part for her kid) to the property.

yes, there is no legal impediment in that provided the house was bought by your sister out of her own funds and it is not a joint family property.
