Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

My husband adn in laws throwed me out if their house. After 3 months of this i filed a 498 a and then after 3 months i filed domestic violence case agaisnt them seeking residence order.

Now my q is :

1. Will i get residence order (I am working women). But i said in my crosss examincation that i dont have security liveing out side alone). I showned my willing ness to rejoin in the court.

2. Can my husband apply for divorce now since 1 yr we are living separately.

he can apply for divorce and in case you willing to stay with him, you may seek residence orders.

If you are sure you want to rejoin him, you could contest divorce on the grounds that you wish to stay with him. You will get residence orders even if you are a working woman. But if you earn more than your husband that residence may be under consideration.
