Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi
My marriage was fixed few days back however, after several meets I feel that its not right to marry with that girl.
Marriage preparation is on going however, we both feel that this marraige is not feasible for us & want to withdraw. We never had any physical relationship with each other.
Can girls parents sue me for this & ask for compensation for all things?
Will I be penalised for harrassment or any other charges?

If both are amicable, no problem. If any monetary settlements, do with advocate or auditor
You can all off your marriage. There is no bar on suing, but to sue successfully they need evidence, and they also need to prove the 'loss suffered' to obtain damages.
If you have received anything from them, the same should be returned and appropriate receipt/s obtained to be on a safe side.
Ideally ask some elders to get involved to solve the problem, and settle the matter amicably.
This is more of a social problem, then a legal one.
