Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a hindu boy married to a christian girl in a church. Marriage NOT registered under any act. Is the marriage valid in the eyes of law ? We now want a divorce. Can this by done Mutual Consent Divorce Deed, with two witnesses and attested by Notary? Rahul, N.Delhi

By fact that you got married in the church, your marriage is valid in the eyes of law. You could get a divorce by mutual consent from the court.

dear client u have to apply in the court under special marriage act. only court has authority to give divorce. yr marriage photos or church certificate will establish yr marriage in the court. for any legal help call me on 9422611385
