HIndu law on adoption

whether married women of 42 year, HIndu, with a daughter living and husband living can be adopted by an issueless man of 80 years , hindu, with his only wife's consent when the man has already adopted a son who has a daughter living without a valid deed of adoption or other ceremonies. Though there were no ceremonies and deeds the lady of 42 years have been living with this old man andhis wife since her birth but all her school records show that the father is her natural father.

No. a 42 year old married women with her husband living cannot be adopted. for a valid adoption the person being adopted should be minor. there cannot be any adoption amongst adults.
