Can a hindu man have two wife officially? if no then what will happen if a married hindu man marries an other woman in a temple as per hindu rituals.

(a) The second marriage will be void if the first wife is alive.

(b) The first wife may seek criminal prosecution of her husband for the offence of "bigamy" under Indian Penal Code.
