Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am a Hindu marrying a Catholic girl. We want the wedding to be held under Special marriage act, but she also wants to have a Catholic wedding, for which we will need to register at the Church. Neither of us is desirous of converting. Can we still have the Catholic wedding registered? What should be the order of the wedding - Special marriage act followed by Catholic or vice versa for the Special marriage act to be applicable? What are the potential conflicts that can arise in case we get married under Hindu & Catholic ceremony, as well as Special marriage act? What would be the religion of any progeny?

Q.1 Neither of us is desirous of converting. Can we still have the Catholic wedding
Ans. BIG NO. why u r so confuse for other question.
you may go for catholic wedding and there is no need of conversion of any of the spouse for it and then the marriage can be registered under special marriage act. there are no conflicts as long as mutual understanding is there between the spouses.
