I am hindu by religion. i want to divorce because my wife tourcher me and not able to live with each other can i file divorce applicaion?

Yes, you may file a divorce petition under section 13 Hindu Marriage Act for divorce on the grounds of cruelty giving all details. However, it is advisable to contact a local lawyer to enable him to represent you before the court of district judge.

Yes you may file for divorce. But you must have grounds for that.

I agree. however you need separation of more than one year before filing divorce. you may also be required to pay her maintenace amount if she is not having any independent source of income.
