hindu sucession act

father died intesate.

family now compromises of mother,2sisters(both married) and 1 mentally retarted brother.

father left 1 property(flat)

what is the share of the above

members of the family in the said property??

what does one have to do to claim its share in the said property?

does one have to give anything in writing to the society(i.e the chs in which the flat is??

currentl my mother is residing in the said flat?

can my sister who is married and my mother lay a claim on the said flat?

how do i protect my interest??

all of you are class I heir and shall inherit equally.

you may claim your share in the property by approaching the authorities to register your name as a Co-owner.

all get equal share you have to get teh flat transfered in joint names

All of you get a equal share and you have to transfer the said flat in joint names.
