Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,thanx for reply to my previous question. For reference, i am working with a MNC in Bangalore suffering from mental torture of a husband(who is also well earning). His demands for money are never ending and his mesbehaviors are limitless. You suggested that i file a case against him .However, i am currently in US and scheduled to come back next month and my husband warns me of the consequences if i enter home without money for him. What can i do sitting here.My parents are in India.Should i go back to my home in Bangalore where he is also staying and no one else to protect me from him ?

You can certainly lodge a written complaint by post. Then you can appear before the Police/ Authority when you are back to India. This will help protect your interest better even when you enter the household when you are back in India.

You can mail me all the details for needful: [email protected]

what other option you have instead of going back to bangalore to your parents. you can file a domestic violence complaint and seek restrain orders from court against him instead of letting the fear develop in your mind. either one has to run away from adverse situation or fight it out. it is upto you to choose.

You do not have to join him. rather, you should file a criminal complaint against him mentioning all the wrong doings of the past; you may send your complaint from USA directly to the local police where he is living with a copy to the Superintendent of police. you may also apply for a 'protection order' if you would want to go and live with him.
