Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi

The Delhi court holidays are about to begin. I have just filed my divorce petition at Tis hazari but the date given by Judge in September 2011 which I feel is too long.

A) Can you please advise me how I can appeal to get an early date in July after court holidays?

B) Is it possible to get my divorce petition transfer to another judge in the same court?

Have you filed a contesting Divorce ? If yes then it is a good enough date for you . Have your spouse been served ? Yes you can make an application to the District Judge for the transfer of your divorce petition.

1)You can apply for speedy trial under Art.227 in high court.

2)You have to apply Sec. 24 petitioner for transfering the case in district judge for details you may contact in my number 9874753359
