Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

the question relates to my sister. she is 34 years old and is married and has a 8 year old son. we are christians, hers was a love marriage and both families were agreeable to the wedding. within a year of her marriage, her husband and mother in law started harrasing her. then she got pregnant and she was told not to come back unless the baby was a boy etc. since her child was a boy, they took her back and she lived with him for a few years and due to the undue stress and harrassment, she developed depression and had to be admitted to a hospital for the same. they were then seperated for sometime and then we applied for a divorce with a settlement amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs. he decided to compromise with her and took her back. after this, around 2-1/2 years later she got to know that in the interim when they were seperated he had got married to another girl in Andhra and had a child by her.

she got another depression attack with all this and now she is still recovering from her depression. he is now asking her to accept his second wife and move in with them. her mental state is not right and she is unable to make right decisions on her own. can we as family, ie, sisters, mother and father, apply for a divorce for her and get her set free from this person. since she is in depression, she is not willing to take any measures and is meekly agreeing to everything he says. he has also had her to remove the child from school and we are trying to get him admission again.

he also hits her and is abusive.
