our house is under joint name but i pay all the emis and loans and my husband only contributes meagre amount towards the house expenses. he has beenearning less than me. Now we are heading for divorce and he wants a 50% share of his property. is it right nad can he claim it?

in case you can prove in the court that he has not contributed 50% of the emis then he cannot claim half of the property. however, there are other circumstances as well that the court has to look into before issuing an order.
