Legal Question in Family Law in India

Me and my husband have decided to split through mutual consent after 1-1/2 years of abstaining any physical contacts, meaning no husband-wife relationship. Although we live in the same house, we hardly see each other or be there for each other, we don't even talk to each other if we happen to be there in the house the same time. Note that my mom's house is close by and i'm there most of the time and visit our place to just take some of my stuff, clothing etc. Can I call this living seperately. Another doubt is do we have to tell our lawyer our entire story over how the misunderstandings between us started or is it just enough to tell the lawyer that we just do not love each other and can't put up with each other's crap and hence we are going in for a divorce.

as you are living under the same roof but at the same time there is no relation between you too, by law, this would be would considered living separation and requirement of sec 14 is complied with. you may go for divorce by consent mentioning that you both are not together since 1 and a half year.
