Legal Question in Family Law in India

My husband died some time ago and I am nominee in his LIC policies. My sister in law has given a written letter in LIC that I was divorced from my husband to stop my claims. I know it won't effect my right in death claim. But can I take some legal action against her as she has given a wrong statement.
