Legal Question in Family Law in India
My husband want a divorce from me after 3 months after our marriage(we had an arrange registered marriage by spl marriage act) the reason being his ex-wife came back in his life and both of them want to unite once more, As he could not find any fault in me, he wants a mutual divorce. Irrespective of our marriage arranged by both our families, we spoke over phone and met at several occations before getting married, whenever me and my family member asked him abt his previous divorce and relationship heand his family just said there is nothing left. He is a software engineer, within a month of marriage we move to Canada for his project, after coming here he disclosed to me all these details abt his ex-wife. As he wants a quick devorce he informed the same to both the families through e-mail and also over phone.Everyone is shoked. they tried to make him understand but failed. I am feeling cheated and mentally tortured,
He told me that he will not stay with me after we go back India next month, if i dont give him divorce he will stay seperately in some other metro.
Under this circumstances I want to know..
1) if he files divorce in mutual ground, can i get alimony as I am not financially independent.
2)if he dont file a divorce and stay seperately, legally wht step i can take?
3)Can you pls suggest me some good lawyer in Kolkata who can help me?
