Legal Question in Family Law in India
My husband is a Doctor by profession and is earning around 1.5 lacs per month.
We never stayed together yet and now we are going to file a mutual consent divorce, as he says he doesn't feel like being together.
I doubt he is married to someone else illegally, as i saw another woman staying with him at his place a couple of times, which he and his family trying to hide. but dont have any proof so far.
i am a hearing impaired woman and working in a private co with 35k pm. i wanted to know how much settlement charges/ lumpsum amount can i ask from him? please guide me.

For permanent alimony, it is better if you know the other assets than his salary also. Because for permanent alimony you may ask reasonably a good amount irrespective of what are your earnings.
To be very frank no one except you who can decide for the amount of alimony to be claimed from your husband. You should count his assets apart from his monthly income, and his and your status of living and accordingly should claim for the alimony keeping in mind of having some negotiations be made from his side in mind.
