My husband filed a divorce case and I am contesting it.my child is now of 3yrs of age.as divorce proceedings takes a longer time,at what preferable age of the child can a woman go to abroad to do her masters giving just temporary custody of a child to grandparents as the kid is much attached to grandparents.....the mother has no intention to stay in abroad just for better future she wantEd to educate and comeback within an year.so please suggest the age of the kid and proceedings without getting any problem for her custodial rights.please kindly help

dear client it depends upon court but before five years of age generally custody will not handover to any body. for further legal help call me on 9422611385

I disagree with all the above answers. You may move the family court to place the child in the foster care of the grandparents. Since you have a genuine case I am sure the court will grant you relief.
