Legal Question in Family Law in India

My husband has filed RCR. Can he get exempted from giving monthly maintenance/permanent alimony from doing so? My husband is a software engineer & earns around 50, 000 pm .Hw much monthly maintenance can i get? The case is in Guwahati Family court. Hw much permanent alimony can i expect? His parents r central govt employees n get good pension. He doesnot have any other liabilities. Standard of living when staying with him was high

No, filing of RCR may not absolve from his responsibility to pay maintenance; The court may normally award you approx 1/4th to 1/3rd of his salary.

No filing of RCR doesnot mean that he gets exemption from paying maintanace. But for getting maintanance you have to file the case also and there are other things also needed to be seen for that matter.
