Legal Question in Family Law in India
I and my husband harassed and abused by my in-laws and cicked out of their home. Now they sent us a notice and demanding heavy money for maintenece which are not able to afford as we have a huge ammount to pay an EMI for our house loan. We both (me & my husband) are working and dont have time to tackle this.
Please suggest us what to do?

It is your duty legal and moral to maintain them. Talk to them through mediation and fix monthly sum which is enough for them and fair for you OR take them back.
try n reach a settlement with them and start paying them maintenance for their living in a decent manner. they are entitled for maintenance u/s 125 of Criminal Procedure Code and you both cannot deny their right. better pay with a smile.
If you take up the case through a lawyer... in the end Judges will favour the age old persons of the family. This is but natural justice.
Instead of wasting time and money in court which finally could go your in-laws way it is better to help them out in their old age.
