Legal Question in Family Law in India

my husband sent legal notice through lawyer asking for divorce. I replied to the notice saying, I am not willing for divorce. After a month my husband, his relatives and lawyer came to my home without notice for mutual divorce. Can lawyer come to my house when I am not at home and without any notice?

Hello,

In the present circumstances your husband can come with relativities to discuss the matter. Its good, if they come with notice but coming without notice is no offence.

Only bringing a lawyer with them is no offence, unless they all force you physical and mentally to sign on some papers, threaten you and your family or abuse.

If he accompanied with your husband and relatives there is nothing wrong. It was the duty of your husband or some common relative to give you prior notice of their visit so that you could stay home and also call your lawyer for talks.
