My husband was already married and has his wifes name on his passport, which i was not aware of. Later we got registerd marriage , he now claims he just got the name included in his passport to help that lady to travel abroad. What is my status, is my marriage void.

His attitude seems to be cheating. Whether he married that lady by register marriage? Anyhow full details required to answer properly.
if it is on his passport then he should have register his marriage before reigstrar also and without divorce your marriage is void.
