1 Answer from Attorneys
You should make serious efforts for an amicable out of court settlement and avoid litigation.
(1) You may initiate appropriate legal action against him for readdress of your grievances,.
(2) If you may establish that, you may file a criminal complaint of "dowry demand".
(3) The notice may have no legal value, even if it was duly signed by him.
(4) You may lodge a criminal complaint against him even for threats.
(5) You may take appropriate legal action for pursuing your remedy and protection of your rights.
