my husband and i got seperated a year ago .i was treated very badly , (psycial mental dowry harrasement etc) . my parents spent a large amount of money on the wedding . iam planning to apply for a divorce. am not employed . my husband has a property of his own he earns a very heafty amout of salary also .the property is on loan he also has a education loan .....am sure he will use all these reasons NOT to pay me maintainence . is it still possible for me to get maintaince . ? i only want back my jwellery and the money my parents spent on the wedding .....but he is refusing to return my jwellery and sent an e-mail stating he doesnt hav any of my jwellery.

Dont worry you will get everything, your jewellery and maintenance also but for that you have to show the proofs and visit your local advocate, he will file the case on behalf of you.
