Legal Question in Family Law in India
My husband have shown statement of bank balance of Rs.18000/- of our joint account in court & trying to prove that wife is enough able to maintain & dont need any maintainence for herself. BUT he has shown that his parents is dependent on him.
On the other hand, & he is maintaining 4 vehicles at thier home.His father is getting Retired officer BANK pension of 9,000/-pm & rent of two houses also @ 4000/-each p/m.He is the only son earning 20,000/-pm.His mother is retired bt no pension.
Is his parents dependent on him..?
I m not working anywhere..?I dnt need anything from his house excepts maintainence..?
Is wife bank balance effects on maintainence case..?

merely showing bank balance is no excuse for your husband to escape from not paying you maintenance,you are rightly entitled to half of his share no matter he takes of his parents or not.but if you are working on rolls you have no right to claim.

No his parents are not dependent and he cannot take this plea of bank balance also.
