Legal Question in Family Law in India

My Husband is in Tanzania or devorce and devasted me and not coming to india for devorce how can i get devorce from him i cant afford lawyer even on 11 Aug 10 FIR has lodged against the family because they have thrown me out from house after intervention of Maharashtra Women Cell Council and was beaten brutely by the family for dowry before that he went to tanzania he had made certain debts which with the help of my salary and gold given to me by my parents i paid and i have all those receipts of that. how Indian Ambassy and Tanzania Ambassy can help me As because of all this i have become patient of depression and alone in this city as even after FIR Police has arrested only one person and humilitate me on asking about others.For surviving i am doing job but because of depression i am not able to concentrate. I have not any support of anybody, I am North Indian married to maharashtrian this discrimination also i faced alot .

where are your parents. in case they are in north india, you may start living with them and fight the odds. in case you choose to fight along in Mah. you may face problems at the hands of police and your in laws. even in case the arrest warrants are issued against your husband, he cannot be arrested as offence of dowry is not recognized abroad. you may resort to a complaint under Domestic Violence Act.
