my husband has tortured me mentally and physically.he was also ready for divorce on mutual grounds but now he denies to give back my streedhan.what should i do ?

are we also entitled to get back those golden articles which were gifted to his parents and sister at the time of marriage and even after that on so many occasions?

you can file a petition for divorce on ground of cruelty.

You are entitled to recover the entire istridhan amount including gold and other articles given by your parents or by him and his parents/relatives. You may consider registering a criminal case u/ss 406 and 498-A of I.P.C. with the local police against all concerned.
