my husband is a uk citizen, left me in 2007 in india, waited patiently for compeletion of 2 yrs, in 2009, he is applying for divorce on desertion grounds. I am interestd to conitnue living with him. does the pt of desertion hold good for a divorce when it is well planned . pl help how is restoration of conjgal rg help me

desertion will be a ground available to your husband, if you deserted him, not that, he deserted you and then claim that as a ground for divorce. Secondly, restoration of conjugal rights is an independent right available to you. For that you have to file an application under section 9 hindu marriage act

According to me no, as he left you and went to UK and not you. You should immediately file a case under Sec. 9 of Hindu Marriage Act.
