Legal Question in Family Law in India

Husband and wife mutually divorced in 2003, in their community by elderly people and Panchayat on 100rs stamp paper which is signed by both the parties and Sarpanch .Is this divorce vaild?

No,only the court can pass divorce decree.

this divorce is not valid unless it is allowed by a recognized custom and the court has accepted that custom.

Not valid. you have to approach court for mutual divorce and you will require only two times to appear before court.
