Legal Question in Family Law in India
Hi. I am India and i recently got married on 12feb 2011. We have not yet registered our marriage. however we have decided to get separated. I have understand the difference between Legal Separation and Dissolution of Marriage. My question to you is, since we have not yet got our marriage certificate issued do we have to register for Legal Separation. Kindly Assist.

For legal sepration, you dont require to register your marriage, but you have to file case in court.

even if the marriage certificate is not issued, but u are married as per law and you may file a petition for divorce by mutual consent.
you have to file a petition in the court and for that marriage certificate is not essential your marriage photo's, invitation card is enough.
