oopsI have a different opinion. once you are divorced and have lawful custody of the child and so stated in the order, there is no issue on your marriage with a nyone including the green card holder provided she is willing to accept a grown up daughter along with you.

Who has the custody of the child ? if the court has granted you the custody ,then your child automatically becomes the child of your second husband. You dont need any adoption for this purpose. There is no bar for you to marry a Green Card holder.
