Legal Question in Family Law in India

My Indian friend is working in USA on H1B visa since 3 years. Last year it was extended for two more years.now.the question is ......If he marry a GREEN CARD holder, will he be able to get the chance to stay in USA even after his H1B expires.? What about the green card or citizenship rules for this type of candidates?

Yes, if he marries a citizen or a Green card holder, he will be entitled to "STATUS CHANGE" and may get a green card even after his H-1B expires, provided the marriage takes place before expiry of his visa status in USA.
