Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a indian and got married under hindu marriage act. There was lot of missunderstanding and differences with my husband from the time i have got married. Now i want divorce and my husband is not ready to give me divorce. Even my parents are not supporting me in this matter insted they are emotionally blackmailing me. My mother is fallen ill and is very sick. So if i apply for divorce will my mothers's sickness affect my divorce case. Will the court listen to my parents and not grant me divorce?

Divorce is an issue between you and your husband and your parents cannot object to the divorce as they have no locus standi. Only your husband can object to it. Read more on divorce laws on my website www.karvai.in and you may also leave a query.
