Getting injunction in India to stop divorce proceeding in US.

We both married in India as per hindu marriage act. I filed for divorce in India but my husband filed another divorce later in US.

I heard that its possible to get injunction from Indian court to stop him pursuing divorce in US.

Is it possible? if so which law apply?

yes, injunction may be granted by indian courts. to apply for it, one may have to hire a lawyer and give all the details of the case including certified copies of proceedings filed in in US.
