ipc498 relation with talaq

i have given talaq.after one year my ex father in law complained and charged ipc 498 aginst me and my parents.please give me guidence.

If you are summoned by the court it would be best to find a good lawyer because the offense is punishable with imprisonment for 3 yrs and fine.
