i am from kharar.recently one month back i shifted from chandigarhibut,my wife alongwith small son went to their father's house in manimajra.my grandmother died on 14-04-2011 and after the death,my wife got 50% share.she is also interested in some another pertson,nri.she wants section sec.13 b mutual divorce from me.she is filing false police complaints 498 a etc.but in due course of time,i got her secret file and came to know that in 1995 and 1998,she divvorced two nri's by mutual divorce by notary.even this time too,she obtained divorce with force and knife/petrol bottle from from notary,kharar,which is untenable in the eyes of law.she is cruel against husband i.e. going to parents home without husbands consent,intersted in another pertson,not preparing food,creating nuisance in the colony etc.but still i want to settle with her and child.marriage is 12 years old.i also filed a petion u/s 9 hindu marriage act regading restitution of conjugal rights.i send a regd. post to her also.but now her father wants to adopt my child to his SON who has no child.this total fraud and mischief now.tell me what to do now

this is strange. in case you were not aware of her past that she divorced two NRIs, why you want to settle with her now. your query is self contradictory. you cannot, on one hand accused your wife of being a cheater and on the other hand, demand her back. think and decide and only then ask for legal opinion.
