my in laws have filed a case against me one year ago. i have been staying separately from my husband for 1.5 yrs. i had visted them to give draft for mutual consent divorce. they accidently mentioned that they will have to withdraw the case they ahve filed agaisnt me before they sign MCD. they have refused to disclose any details of the case they have filed agaisnt me.they claim that i have received 3-4 notices from the court for the same. i have not received any such notices nor was i aware of such case been filed. what should i do. should i go ahead and file petition or wait for their case to get over. i want to get divorce form my husband.

Ma'am as you hav mentioned that you also want to go for divorce i.e. mutual divorce, but before that it is also necessary to know as to what all are the cases filed against you, and as your in-laws are not telling you about the same you, instead of waiting should try to find out as to what all are the cases filed against you.
