Legal Question in Family Law in India
when a lawyer asks for money for No objections
I want to fire my lawyer as he is not proactive . However my lawyer is demanding money for NOC . Is it legal for him to do . If he does not give me an NOC can I fire the lawyer by filing a firing memo in court . I do not want to complaint or cause him trouble but I do not want to pay money for the NOC.In fact since he charged for complete case I think he should return me prorated but I am willing to leave that

a lawyer is not your employee so no question of FIRING. you can change your counsel even if he dont give u NOC. if you are having any proof of giving money to him then its well and good.
