My lawyer is saying don't worry be normal leave on time,

So please tell I;m nervous Law guru please give me basic idea, Dnt tell me consult lawyer or already answered. your website is to help people like us how are not having knowledge.

My wife sent me divorce petition with allegations, Today was my date in court. Her lawyer has agree with my lawyer for mutual divorce. What is mutual divorce ? Judge told to give Divorce Petition, What is it Divorce petition ? Should I have to pay monthly maintenance for her. And any compensation for my child. I have already paid 4 lakhs worth gold and cash at the time of separation in the year 2006. Which was signed on agreement and done notary. My wife has a good post she earns 45000/- pm she is assist manager for insurance co. And I earn nearly 2000/- pm have a computer game centre. Will she claim for my self owned property my office and house.

In case of Mutual consent divorce you can negotiate the terms of settlement with your wife and file the consent / settlement terms in court. You can put a condition that she will not demand any alimony / maintenance and will not claim your property and if she agrees you can go ahead.
