Legal Question in Family Law in India

Legal heirship

My mother is going to sell the property that she got from her father as a succession. She is selling this to her brother. This property in her name now. Is there any right for me (as a grandson) to claim a right on the inherited property.

As far as you are concerned you don't have any right to stop your mother from selling her property to her brother or anyone.

Re: Legal heirship

NO. YOU HAVE NO RIGHT IN THE PROPERTY. YOUR MOTHER IS THE ABSOLUTE OWNER OF PROPERTY INHERITED BY HER FROM HER FATHER. FOR YOU THE PROPERTY WILL BE TECHNICALLY "ANCESTRAL" IF INERITED FROM YOUR FATHER'S FATHER.
