Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, I live in India.I was married 4 years ago, the marriage was properly registered after the mangalsutra ceremony in temple infront of friends. Then she went to UK for higher studies. Now she and her family says they want a divorce as my financial condition is unstable(Still Im working for IT company and in good designation) and I didnt talk to her for 10 months as she insulted my dad on phone.Now she wants to go away. But I want to bring her to India and want to live. Also I dont want to agree for divorce. Please guide me with some light.Many thanks.\n\n

in this situation, you may file a petition for Restitution of Conjugal Rights and seek directions from the court that your wife be directed to join your company as she is staying away from you without sufficient cause. but in case you feel that your wife is hell bent upon taking divorce and can go to any extent to get it...viz. filing frivolous complaint under DV or dowry laws, then you may choose the option of divorce.

File a case for Restitution of conjugal rights under section 9 of HMA and your wife has to join you over here in india.

Your criminal case will be quashed immediately though High Court.
