Legal Question in Family Law in India

I was living abroad with my wife and child. I caught my wife red handed having sex with someone else. I sent them back and filed for divorce. I came to India few times for hearing till evidence. I had given evidence and few witnesses also been crossed in the court.

Now my wife had filed their witness schedule what includes director of the company where I work abroad. In fact he does not even know me personally or has no idea about the case. This is purposely done to make me lose my job.

What will happen if he does not appear in court (anyway he is not going to appear). My lawyer says nothing will happen. I am writing this to get a second opinion / more expert opinion.

Is their any way I can tell the honorable court that this is being purposely done to make me lose my job and this gentleman has nothing to do with this case.

Thank you.

You may better follow your lawyer's opinion since he has access to all the pleadings and updated records.

as you saying that your wife has committed adultry, is the petition also filed on the grounds of adultry. secondly, as your boss has no personal knowledge of the case, he would be considered an irrelevant witness and his evidence would be dispensed with. however, it is not safe to opine without going through your petition and her reply.
