Legal Question in Family Law in India

we are living in Delhi alongwith our 1.5 yr old child. My wife deserted me and j obtained the interim custidy of my child through court 200 Km away in Haryana by filing DV case.

Where should I file the petition for Child custody?

in Delhi which is/was the permanent adress of the child or

in Haryana where the child is presently residing

My Delhi lawyer is saying it should be in Haryana but Haryana lawyer is saying it should be in Delhi.

I am confued, Please give me suitable advise.

the petition for custody needs to be filed where the child is residing. it has to be haryana and you may hire a delhi lawyer who would expedite the matter in haryana.
