Legal Question in Family Law in India

We have been living in a Pagadi house for the past 3 generations. The house passed on from my grandfather to my uncle who died in 1988. My grandfather had 3 sons, my eldest uncle whose name the house was till 1988, another uncle who moved out in the late 1960s and my father. After my eldest uncle's death the house was tranferred to my mothers name and is still in her name till date. All this while my second uncle ( who is asking for his claim ) had fretted away his wealth, never bothered or cared for his ailing mother and brother. My father and mother took care of my grandmother and uncle. Now my second uncle after all these years is in dire straits. He now asked for a share in the house. My father has lost all his savings in a bad investment and my parents are living on my mothers pension. Is my second uncle entitled to the share ?
