Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am living separately from my husband from last one year but I am residing in a property owned by my father in law.Me & my daughter are living in one room and I have given other two rooms on rent as I am not getting any money from my husband as maintenance for me & my daughter.Can my husband or in laws take this property from me legally?

Hi, you can claim only maintenance (for you as wel as your daughter) from your husband and there is no other rights conferred on you to possess property (if it is not of your husband's) and so your in law (father in law) can do so if he wants.
