I am living seprately from my husband from last six months with my 7 years old daughter.He is not giving me any maintainance from his income.I have filed a suit for maintainance in civil court in a Delhi court. How long it takes court to settle an amount to be given for maintainance?

apart from filing the civil suit, you may file a complaint under section 125 of crpc as well for the maintenance. however, in case your facts permit, you may also seek monetary reliefs under DV Act. there is no set time frame of getting the desired reliefs but they can be expedite by your lawyer.

Mr.Rajiv and Sanjay are right, addingly you can also file maintenance for your child education and other maintenance also.
