Legal Question in Family Law in India

I lost my marriage certificate and there is no photocopy, details of the same. Only and only I know the date and year of marriage and the name of the advocate, I do not know his address also. How can I get a copy ???? I even donot know from which court it was registered. Pls help.

If you know the date of marriage, you may contact the Registrar of Marriages of the area where the marriage took place, for a duplicate copy of marriage certificate.

as you know the date, you may hire a lawyer for the purpose of getting certified copy of your marriage certificate.
